touching base

Hi, just wanted to touch base and let you know I am making some new things and will post them soon.  We have three Grandchildren now a Girl, boy, boy and two girls due in the spring.  Lots going on.

Hi, I got to attend Road to California quilt show this weekend with my Bestie BJ Dale, and let me tell you it was great, so many beautiful quilts.  I picked up a few stencils and panels.  Can't wait until the next
one.

little wall hanging

I used canvas for this and painted it, then cut dies and attached for my grandson's rm, think it turned out pretty cute.  Think I might seal it, not sure.

I have stuff listed on Twentynine palms Yardsales, so chk it out, if you would like anything we can work out an arrangment.

Hello

Hi folks been alot going on with me so I have been out of the loop for awhile.  I have posted a link to my websit for Twentynine Palms Yardsales where I have some things listed for sale.  Check it out.

We have made alot of changes, we now live in Twentynine Palms CA, we keep coming back for some reason, seriously it was a job this time.  We love it here and enjoy the weather so much.  I hope to start a few projects and love to look at the other blogs and new things.  Keep crafting and shareing.

Waiting for our Grandson to make his entrance into the world we are so excited he is due any day, can't wait to meet him and Kirsten is going to make a wonderful big sister. We got some snow here on the coast of NC, not exactly what I wanted we have been here a yr and gotten snow twice very unusual. Well the next chapter of our lives is:
Bought land in NV
Save money to move
Would like to move in the fall of 20`12 but we will see.

Pictures of my family. They are wonderful.

I have not been on in a long time and updated anything, I know I am bad. But I have been working on a cpl things. I am doing quilt blocks and really enjoy it, they can be used as wall hangings or you can frame and hang in a childs rm. I want to try diff techniques and styles so i will post a few as I go.

Snow Days

Well it snowed here in New Bern NC, we got about 4 inch at my house. The dogs love it but I am not so fond of snow and cold weather, but it was beautiful now we are ready for summer and those beach days.

Paper Dolls blanket scrapped

This was made using the cricut cartridge paper dolls for the doll, and I just scrapped the rest.

New little boy in cami's

This was so much fun to do, you can put any greeting on this blanket. The next one I think on the next one I will put a little more on it.

This is my new little girl blanket, these are so much fun, it is embelished like a scrapbook page.
With pink and green cottons. You can use your imagination and do so much with this.

Been Busy

Well we have moved to NC Eastern, and it has been exciting to say the least, while I am looking for a job I am trying to keep busy soI have been sewing and coming up with new patterns I am working on some really cute things, but unfortunately my camera is on the fritz but will try to post pic's soon.

Kirsten's Christmas Dress

I decided to make my grandaughter a dress for Christmas, well this should be good lol, I do not make clothes. But so far I love it, found some really cute material with snowmen on it and took a chance so here is what I have so far.

Apron

This is a little apron I made for my Grandaughter with her initial on the front. It turned out really cute. I did a back for it so she could change it out. It was simple and quick to make.

Heart Blanket

This lap quilt I did for my oldest daughter she loves hearts and I love the pinks and browns, it was such a fun quilt to make and so easy.
